Opera in the Dell. Today Saturday 15 June. from 6pm. Mapesbury Dell presents a midsummer evening of popular opera classics. Admission is free and all are welcome, including children. For more details and to reserve seats (if needed) see the Dell website.

The initial road by road judging took place in late June and the final best gardens were chosen in mid-July, so it depended very much on what was looking good then as to who was chosen. There were lots of very good gardens this year and the judges reported finding it difficult to make the final choice.
