Road/rail freight superhub. Barnet proposal for a rail freight facility for the transfer of aggregates and construction waste just north of the railway terraces and accessed from the Edgware Road (behind Lidl). More details. The planning application and supporting documents are available for residents to view, and submit comments, online via Barnet’s Public Access website: (planning application reference number is 17/5761/EIA). The deadline for comments is Wednesday 18 October.


Latest Police Ward Panel meeting on 9 October. report

The MAPRA committee would like to invite bids for funding for projects that would contribute to or enhance our area or the community around us. Grants up to £500; deadline 6 Nov. Application form.

Cricklewood Community Library has succeeded in reaching its target of £114,000 by the deadline. Can still donate to help for future work.

Housing Consultation. A consultation with tenants and leaseholders to inform the Council’s final decision on the future of housing management is running until 17 March. More details of proposal and consultation click here.

Kilburn station book exchange. MapRA with Cricklewood Library and London Underground, have set up a bookcase at the station for people to borrow / return or add to.  (picture above). Please donate and / or take books.
