About MapRA - contd |
|
We have sub-committees for many topics, including planning, conservation,
gardens open day and parking strategy. Currently members are involved in
working closely with the police; supporting members against anti-social
behaviour & encouraging recycling. We
are most proud of the development of our Community Link project, whereby people
are brought together with a variety of interests in common: including walking,
gardening, book club, theatre, music, bridge and local history. MapRA members devote their time to community initiatives and local issues. It is made up of a broad spectrum of people all of whom have an interest in their local community at heart and who wish to foster good citizenship through active involvement. What do we do?
For the real afficionados amongst you: the MapRA constitution |
