Wish Happy New Year to all.
Plants from Watling Gardens. You may know that there are new blocks to be built on Watling Gardens area (on Shoot Up Hill). One of the residents there had developed a garden with apple trees and a large number of plants in pots. Sadly he died before Xmas and the Site Manager wants to clear the plants and pots (the apple trees have already gone). We have various locations where can use some of plants (Triangle gardens, WG station garden, Open garden plant sale) but first we have shift them. I have offer of van to help the move but any assistance to load and unload would be greatly appreciated. Envisage working between 2pm and 330pm on this Friday 6th.
Recycle your Christmas tree! There are options more environmentally and community minded than dumping it in the street! Most convenient is to drop your tree off at collection point up until next Sunday 8 January. Collection point nearest to us is at the Anson Road entrance to Gladstone Park. For other options see link

Dance for fitness. At this time of new Year resolutions may I mention our Zumba Gold class on Mondays 11am at the O2 Centre (start on 9th Jan). 30 min dance plus 25 min floor exercise. Social group; still have some spaces to fill. Contact me for details.
