Gladstone Park; Correction

I've been told that the meeting point for tomorrow 10am-12 noon Gladstone Park litter pick is by the Dollis Hill House footprint at the very top of the park.(not the Andon Road entrance) May see you there.

Mapesbury Spring Clean

Small turnout (but the fewer the greater share of honour!).
Thanks to Steve Iliffe, Steve and Debbi McCormach and Cllr Tariq Dar. We covered several streets near to WG station; very enjoyable working as a team,

And Tariq Dar puts out an appeal for help in Cricklewood Spring Clean litter picking, tomorrow, Saturday 26th June From 11am to 1pm. Assembly point Ashford Place Ashford Rd  NW2. They will provide Litter Pickers, Bags, Gloves, Sanatisers, Masks, Street Map.
They hope to cover lots of streets so need lots of Volunteers.
Please confirm your attendance by sending a message on 07984 788299 or just turnup on the day.

Mapesbury Fete - Sat 3 July

Mapesbury Garden Club are organising a fete for Saturday 3rd July, 2-5pm. Please put the date in your diaries.

There will be a Plant Sale with lots of good bargains, a wide variety of plants and some second-hand garden equipment, at 60-62 Teignmouth Road.
Refreshments.  At St Gabriel’s Church there will be a Cake Stall with a choice of homemade cakes plus refreshments at tables inside the church. 
At the Old Vicarage, next door to the church in St Gabriel’s, there will be:
  • a Raffle with some lovely prizes, including an afternoon tea hamper, art deco cocktail set, bottle of whisky & crystal decanter and more
  • a White Elephant stall with lots of curious bargains where you might find just that elusive present you’ve been looking for, or something to treat yourself
  • a Book stall with lots of bargains.
So please do come along and join in. Be good to see lots of people at the event and in the street..
 
If you would like to help and donate things we are taking::
  • white elephant stall bric-a-brac & book donations at the Old Vicarage – just ring the bell and leave them on the front door step of the Old Vicarage  - clean, unbroken donations please in plastic bags
  • plant donations – deliver to 60-62 Teignmouth on Saturday 3rd  am
  • second hand or unwanted gardening equipment – deliver to 60-62 Teignmouth on Saturday 3rd am
  • spare plastic bags needed – leave at either destination – the Old Vicarage if in advance or at the Plant Stall on the day
  • if you would like to contribute to the cake making – please contact Anne on 07985 218113
