The Sufra Foodbank is also starting a winter warmer coat drive. They are looking for donations of mens, womens, and children’s winter coats; all sizes. Good condition only. Drop them off at the main Sufra building, 160 Pitfield Way, NW10 0PW, Monday to Friday 10am-5pm. Or, probably more conveniently, take to the PCC (Pakistani Community Centre. Marley Walk between 11am and 3pm on Tuesdays.

Healthy nutrition. Have email from a nutritionist working for Beezee Bodies. They provide free support for local families to make healthy changes to their lifestyle. This service supports children, parents and families. Brent Council have commissioned them to provide support for children aged 5-15 years old and their families living in Brent who are outside the healthy weight range. The sheep are back on the green space outside B&Q in Cricklewood (with addition of a ram). One of them (not sure which!) was financed by MapRA. Congratulations to people from the NW2 residents team who repaired, painted and reinstalled them. |
