Robbery from back garden?

Last week in Dartmouth Road a man was caught on camera going through back gardens. Police were called and they said to let neighbours know. (gardens back onto Teignmouth Road gardens).

Vaccine bus…

will be coming to Cricklewood (Oaklands Road) this Tuesday 7th September; 10am – 6pm. No need to book, bring ID or be registere4d with GP; just turn up. The bus has the Pfizer vaccine,available to all 18 and over (come early to avoid disappointment – the bus will depart once all vaccines have been administered) 

Councillors surgery

Our Mapesbury Councillors hold a constituents surgery on the first Saturday of each month at Cricklewood Community library from 11am to 12 noon. To deal with constituent’s problems. Apologies that I missed notifying yesterday’s;

National Gardens Scheme. Local Gardens

Three of our members are opening their gardens to raise money for charity under the National Garden Scheme on Sunday 19th September 1pm – 5pm.
Hester at 106 Dartmouth Road, Elayne at 58 Teignmouth Road, and John at 131c Dartmouth Road. See more at https://ngs.org.uk/view-garden/42426
Refreshments available at 106 Dartmouth and 58 Teignmouth. The cost to see all three is £12.  Cost to see just one is £5. Cash preferred (though may have card reader)
Hope members can support them as all have been very involved in community projects; Hester leading and John stalwart in the team improving the triangle gardens; Elayne leading a group improving Pakistan Community Centre garden.

Coal, Dole and Dinner ladies

Matilda Velevitch is back with a new Immersive theatre project. It will run through September and October and is a free event with donations going to Willesden Mutual Food Aid. It’s a short intro into the history of the Miner’s Strike, connecting to our community and their support of each other. Details and booking at: Coal, Dole and Dinner Ladies Each performance includes tea and cake, served by the Dinner Ladies/ It is part of Brent Museum and Archives' Being Brent community project. Barn Hill conservation group

Bit outside our area but if you love being outdoors and would like to help with local conservation projects on Sunday mornings (normally at 945am!); see their website: www.bhcg.btck.co.uk  and contact barnhillconservationgroup@gmail.com  for further information. All you need to bring with you are strong gardening gloves and sensible shoes/boots. All tools supplied, also refreshments.
