Aid for Ukraine

Cllr Tariq Dar is organising collection of medicine, blankets and food. You can take to 233 Willesden Lane 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday.
Matilda Velevitch (of Care for Calais charity) also provided me a list of verified non-profit making agencies involved and felt that, at this stage financial donations were going to be more useful: Now, I think, those charities have come together in the Disasters Emergency Committee. https://www.dec.org.uk/

Mayor Lia’s Charity Gala Dinner



To mark the end of our Councillor Lia’s Brent Mayorship, she invites all to her Charity Gala Dinner. It is on Thursday 24 March 7pm to 11pm. There will be: live entertainment, DJ, three-course meal, raffle, pay bar.

Covid boosters

The people at the mosque basement are doing 4th booster jabs on Sunday 13th and 20th  March from 10am to 230 pm. Also can do previous jabs if you have missed those. (Brent has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country)
