Every day the Master Locksmiths Association receive stories and complaints about people masquerading as locksmiths. At best, rogues will do a substandard job or overcharge after initially quoting a cheaper price in a tactic known as ‘bait and switch’. They also often display threatening behaviour and have even been known to withhold keys to locks they’ve fitted. The ‘Which’ report shows the tell-tale signs of a rogue locksmith.
