OUR HISTORY
MapRA started in the early 70s initially as a campaign group against traffic cutting through the area. It has grown to around 800 households covering a range of community social and campaign issues. The association still aims to act in the interests of all local residents and support them with any problems.
CONSERVATION
In 1982 ten roads in Mapesbury were designated a Conservation area. The roads are: Anson, Dartmouth, Dawlish, Exeter, Keyes, Hoveden, Lydford & Mapesbury, Teignmouth, Walm Lane. Although some Mapesbury properties are not included, they benefit substantially from bordering the area.
