One of our members, confused, went missing on Thursday. Police were informed and good news is that he has been found by them in Chiswick.
Combined test and vaccine centre.
Central Mosque of Brent is now the UK’s first Combined NHS Vaccination and Test Centre. They willl be accommodating the Vaccination and NHS Test Centre personnel in the Mosque and it will make it easier for the local community to access the Covid 19 services. Exact details will be distributed shortly.
Note that residents age 70 and over, or on the shielding list, or Health and Social Care workers, can now book their jab online. You need to enter your NHS no at link If you are aged 65+ – you can submit a request and be added to the reserve list. And our Mutual aid groups are offering GP’s, help with the low mobility to get to the centres.

Clothes stall to help rough sleepers. A warm-clothes rack for rough sleepers and struggling people has been set up outside Waitrose in Finchley Road. The stall will be outside Waitrose every Sunday between 11am-4pm. This venture set up by Oliver Norman as a “simple and direct” way to help during the winter. Not just for rough sleepers, for anybody who is struggling and can’t afford warm clothing. Stresses that everyone must be Covid-compliant, with masks. More

A person suffering abuse can go into a Pharmacy and ‘Ask for Ani’ – the code word for the pharmacist to get them help. More
