Below I show council response to a query from member. “Please be assured that there has been an increased Policing activity within the Willesden Green area where this included intelligence-led operations across the ward with dedicated officers deployed to provide a sustained uplift in visibility and enforcement, the operation utilised a range of tactics focused on tackling violence, drug related activity and antisocial behaviour. – this also including within the Vicinity of Willesden Green Station. We have also tasked Brent Council ASB & Nuisance patrol officers to patrol and monitor identified hotspot locations within the ward for appropriate action to be taken. In addition to enforcement services, we work in partnership with support services such as VIA New Beginnings (drug and alcohol support service) plus St Mungo’s who are commissioned to provide a service and outreach to individuals who are rough sleeping in the borough and ensure identified needs of the individuals are addressed while ending their homelessness.“ Semhal Habtom, ASB Localities Officer (Willesden Connects) 0208 937 1058 Kilburn Station.
