Brent Council and the police are holding a public meeting for local residents and businesses following the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Jamal Ringrose in Dudden Hill Lane near to Dollis Hill Station. Meeting: 6pm Monday 15 June at Brent Indian Community Centre, 19 Dudden Hill Lane NW10 2ET.
Police arrested an 18-year-old man on Sunday 31 May on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He has been released on bail. A 15-year-old boy arrested on Tuesday 2 June was charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court on 4 June. Police also arrested a 16-year-old boy on Wednesday 3 June on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody.
Detectives are still working to establish the full circumstances. They ask anyone with dashcam, CCTV, photos or mobile phone footage from the south part of Dudden Hill Lane around 10.30pm on Saturday 30 May to get in touch or upload any footage at mipp.police.uk/operation/01MPS26A24-PO1
Information from local police:
Brent Safer Neighbourhood officers carried out a focused operation addressing local concerns in the Kilburn area. Working with partners, this resulted in 45 arrests, 74 vehicles seized and 1,161 stolen phones recovered. A total of 8 weapons were removed from the streets, alongside drugs seized and action taken against illegal trading and licensed premises.

The Nest will be reopening on Monday! Please come along, show your support, and enjoy having it back. If the weather is nice, grab a seat outside and help welcome it back to the community. Opposite The Nest on Station Parade, on the right-hand side within the station, a newsagent will also be opening. Fitting-out work is expected to begin this week.
